Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Five (5) years current experience in Flow Cytometry clinical laboratory area required. Attention to detail, proficiency in Flow Cytometry techniques and analysis is required. The ability to recognize testing/procedural anomalies and act appropriately to resolve these is required. Must be able to operate various computer applications and work safely with chemicals and solvents. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and within a team environment. Effective time management, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills are required. The successful candidate will represent Laboratory Medicine and Pathology in a respectful, professional and courteous manner.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous Tech II experience is an asset. Familiarity with the Connect care / Epic / Beaker Laboratory Information Systems is preferred.
