Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three (3) to five (5) years current experience in a Core Lab is required. Recent experience in a high volume lab working with the Sysmex XN, Stago Evolution, Beckman Coulter DXC and DXI, performing differentials, CSF and Fluid analysis, and Cellavision, Bone Marrow Procurement, Bio-Rad Unity. Proven interpersonal and leadership skills which include building and maintaining relationships, facilitating teamwork, resolving conflict and managing change and resources are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred. Familiarity with: Project Management, Process Excellence (LEAN), Quality Systems. Sunquest Laboratory Information Systems and general computer applications is an asset. Supervisory, Leadership, and Management courses within the last 5 years is an asset. Experience with scheduling, SOP writing, ePeople time entry.
