Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent (within past 2 years) Transfusion Medicine Laboratory experience. Experience with automated Transfusion Medicine methods. Recent (within past 2 years) Hematology Laboratory experience. Experience with automated Hematology analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications:3 years of Clinical Laboratory experience. Experience with Capture/Solid Phase technology, CellaVision, Sysmex, Sysmex WAM, ACL Top. Experience with Epic/Connect Care, Meditech. Member of CSMLS. Demonstrated commitment to continuing education. Knowledge and experience with current transfusion medicine standards, legislation, and best practices.
