Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Preferred Qualifications:Experience in an urban RRL, including the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of current lab instrumentation and middleware in Hematology, Chemistry, and/or Transfusion Medicine departments with at least 1 years’ experience within the last 3 years preferred. Training/experience in multiple departments. Experience with manual/automated urinalysis, manual differentials, pretransfusion testing and /or GeneXpert analyzer. Courses/certificates in process improvement and/or change management.
