Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Experience in an urban RRL, including the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of current lab instrumentation and middleware in Hematology, Chemistry, and/or Transfusion Medicine departments with at least 1 years’ experience within the last 3 years preferred. Training/experience in multiple departments. Experience with manual/automated urinalysis, manual differentials, pretransfusion testing and /or GeneXpert analyzer. Courses/certificates in process improvement and/or change management.
