Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience (within the last two years) in a core laboratory setting is required. The demonstrated ability to prioritize and work independently, as well as in a team setting, is a necessity. The successful candidate must be well organized, flexible, and able to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience with the following is preferred: Sysmex XN9100, Sysmex Cellavision DM1200, ACL Top 350, Roche Cobas Pro Systems (ISE, c503, e801), Osmometer, Siemens Clinitek Advantus, GeneXpert, Ortho Swift, Ortho Optix and Wellsky. Experience with programs such as EPIC Beaker, Infinity for Roche Cobas Pro, Caresphere for Sysmex, and Unity Real Time is an asset.
