Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience in a STAT lab and ability to work independently in fast paced environment. The successful candidate must have strong technical, communication and troubleshooting skills when working alone and/or as part of a laboratory team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with experience within 2-years for the following: Epic Beaker Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Wellsky LIS, Sysmex XNL550, ACL Top 350, Beckman Access2, Vitros XT3400, Advanced Instruments Osmometer, Abbott iSTAT, and Clinitek Status / Advantus, manual testing methods.
