Completion of Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Additional Required Qualifications:Degree in Computer Sciences, Bioinformatics or related field. Advanced programming skills in at least one programming language and extensive experience with running and modifying software. Experience in non-compiled language such as Python. Experience with statistical analysis and working in R (development, running, module install etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience and proficiency with database development, web servers and automation/workflow solutions (Snakemake, Nextflow), Linux (Red Hat, Debian, and other common distributions). Proven experience with data integration. Experience in comparative genomics, phylogenetic trees and data visualizations. Excellent problem recognition and problem-solving skills. Effective organizational skills, time management and task prioritization.
