Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficiency in data entry. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. Heavy lifting up to 25 lbs, capable of standing or walking for long periods. Able to work with and exposure to chemicals and gloves. Any Canadian equivalency to English 30 or 33 or CLBA score of Benchmark 8 completed within the last six months.
Preferred Qualifications:Anatomic Pathology experience including grossing and/or experience with decedents. Experience within the last 2 years preferred. Basic LIS and Microsoft computer skills.
