Access to reliable personal transportation is required as some of the possible work sites do not have access to public transportation. Please note that this position has a rotating shift Monday to Friday 0700-1900 and every third Saturday from 0700-1515. If the regular staff at Onoway is not available this position will provide coverage shifts on Monday to Friday 0815-1545. This position will also provide coverage for Breton PSC with shifts on Tuesday and Thursday 0715-1530 if the regular staff at Breton is not available.
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification.
Preferred Qualifications:At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience. ECG experience.
