Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:As Required.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working in a high-volume hub lab is preferred. Strong team player with the ability to work independently. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates excellent organizational, problem-solving, troubleshooting, decision making and time management skills. Working knowledge of infinity middleware and Epic LIS is preferred. Open flexibility and experience within the last year working in a chemistry and/or urinalysis department is an asset.
