Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience performing macroscopic and microscopic urinalysis testing. Phlebotomy experience is required. Working within a team environment, good interpersonal skills, effective time management and the ability to set priorities are necessary. Excellent communication skills both written and oral are required. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable and flexible within an environment of change and interruptions. Must be able to represent Laboratory Medicine in a respectful, professional, and courteous manner.
Preferred Qualifications:Connect Care-Epic Laboratory Information System experience is preferred. Medical Terminology and experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
