Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous technical experience with processing samples. Excellent typing and database entry abilities (both speed and accuracy). Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Superior organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work and deliver accurate work under stressful conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 6 months experience in Connect Care. Minimum of 1 year current experience in a clinical Molecular lab would be an asset. Post-secondary education with Molecular Biology courses would be an asset.
