Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must have experience with performing phlebotomy and ECGs. Must have the ability to work within a team environment, good interpersonal skills, effective time management and the ability to set priorities. The successful candidate must be adaptable and flexible within an environment of change and interruptions. The candidate selected will have the ability to listen, comprehend and orally respond to or relay information in person, over the phone or in writing in an accurate, clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications:Previous use of EPIC Beaker is preferred. Experience collecting research kits and performing collections for clinical trials is an asset. Transfusion Medicine/Wellsky experience with transport, issuing, and handling of blood products would be beneficial.
