Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Recent experience and competency in phlebotomy techniques within the last year. Recent and relevant experience in a hospital setting within the last 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience within the last year with Calgary urban hospital. Experience with EPIC. WHMIS and TDG Certificate. Experience with pediatric and neonatal venipuncture and/or skin puncture within the last year. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs. Courses or certificates in personal leadership development. Courses or training in process improvement or change management.
