Baccalaureate degree or equivalent specialization in Human Resources, combined with at least 3 years’ experience in progressively responsible HR generalist roles. Experience within a public sector unionized environment, preferably in healthcare. Proven skills and expertise in labour relations with an understanding and philosophy of building collaborative union/employer relations. Excellent written communication skills with experience in preparing legal responses and other similar documents. Strong analytical skills with an ability to provide creative solutions to resolve issues. Strong facilitation and public speaking skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Criminal Record Check satisfactory to APL, valid within the last three months.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience/expertise with supporting organizational change management initiatives is considered an asset.
