Completion of diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
Additional Required Qualifications:Current BCLS-HCP certification required. Proven ability to work within a computer-based environment using Microsoft office suit including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint. Demonstrate proficiency in core laboratory theory including hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, specimen procurement and handling, and transfusion medicine dispense by applying theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. Current BCLS-HCP certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year experience as a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist within a rural hospital facility is an asset. Connect Care Epic training and experience.
