Required Qualifications:

Relevant undergraduate degree in a related field (healthcare profession, business, etc.) and/or Registered Medical Technologist designation with registration with the CSMLS. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of 3-5 years healthcare leadership experience in a health care organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of progressive professional and personal development. Experience and knowledge of working in a clinical laboratory setting. Experience and knowledge of Acute Care and Community/Rural laboratory settings. Understanding of Payroll, e-People processing and Recruitment Management System. Epic Beaker Experience.


Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the incumbent will possess a record of accomplishment in the following areas: Proven leadership skills in team building, conflict resolution, and facilitation skills. Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced and changing environment. Solution oriented with a focus on exercising sound judgement to creatively resolve issues. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills, and client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Proven ability in establishing and fostering positive relationships and partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to plan, organize, and manage short- and long-term plans and projects and deliver customer-focused results. Ability to work independently.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Medical Laboratory Technologist II experience in a Rural Clinical Laboratory Setting. Epic Beaker Experience. Understanding of quality management systems. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making, coaching, teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Demonstrated knowledge of change management and creating innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues.
