Required Qualifications:

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of two years’ management experience within a unionized environment. Minimum of five years’ nursing experience in Acute Care, Emergency. Recent experience and proficiency within Obstetrics and Surgical programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influential skills and client/resident focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. - Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.
