Required Qualifications:

Active registration and practice permit required with a Degree in applied Health Services discipline or equivalent. Minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Healthcare experience is a requirement. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing concepts and treatment methods. Have a proven ability to use sound professional judgment and initiatives. Have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to delegate responsibility.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Work harmoniously with other staff members in an interdisciplinary team. Ability to work independently in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

Health Services Administration or related studies an asset. Equivalencies will be considered. Previous Acute Care, Emergency and Rehab nursing experience preferred. Familiarity with using a PC, Internet, and Microsoft office applications an asset.
