Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be competent in a computerized windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of current Materiel Management Systems and processing in an asset PSPALM, Oracle and OGS database). WHMIS. Must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking and have a good comprehension of the English language. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well with others in a team environment. Must be reliable, courteous, organized and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality of all concerned and have strong customer skills. Considerable amount of standing, walking, heavy lifting (up to 50LBS.), pulling, pushing and bending. Combination of education and /or experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

Post secondary education in a logistics related field is an asset. Two (2) years’ experience in a warehousing or stores operation preferred.
