Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.

Additional Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent relevant training, education and/or experience as defined by Alberta Provincial Laboratory. Valid class "5" Alberta driver’s license. Must have experience in a computerized environment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet). Knowledge and understanding of aseptic technique required. Attention to detail and the ability to work with limited supervision required. Knowledge of computerized inventory systems and bar-code technology required. Ability to read, write and comprehend English required. Must be capable of frequent heavy lifting and moving of objects up to 40 kg. Must be capable of pushing/pulling heavy carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 kg. The ability to follow oral and written instructions and make basic mathematical calculations is necessary. The capability to work within established routines is essential. Must be able to complete physical tasks including considerable amounts of standing and walking, bending, stooping, reaching for and carrying material, and heavy lifting, pushing and pulling. Preference will be given to those who have Site Service experience.
