Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with members of the multidisciplinary team including families. Self-direction, independent problem solving and decision-making, sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills. Time management and prioritization skills, with a demonstrated ability to function effectively within a dynamic, fast paced, multidisciplinary environment. Actively integrate patient and family centered care principles in all areas of practice including clinical decision-making and effective communication. Create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Values of AHS: Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety. Practice according to clinical practice standards. Minimum of three (3) years pediatric Experience Required. Recent experience (within the last 2 years) with a pediatric population. Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a community health setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with Therapist Assistants. Experience supervising SLP students. Recent (within the last 2 years) experience working with Pediatric Community Rehabilitation. Experience in Program Development.
