Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Social Work. (equivalent education or experience may be considered). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current CPR (BLS - Health Care Provider Level C) certification required. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills required. Effective organizational and time management skills required. Previous experience in crisis intervention required. Recent experience in working with patients/families facing chronic and/or life threatening illness required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Social Work experience in a health care setting preferred. Previous experience desired. Previous social work experience within an acute care hospital preferred/an asset. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Experience in program development and improvement an asset.
