Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Minimum 1 year of independent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience within the last 5 years in an acute care hospital setting. Current BCLS-HCP Certification required, including expiration date.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of independent clinical Respiratory Therapy experience within the last 8 years in an acute care hospital setting. Current training to ICU, Wards, Outreach, NICU, and ER within the last 2 years. Current training to PLC site. Current NRP/PALS/ACLS Certification, including expiration date. Current experience in managing Chronic Ventilation patients and pediatric patients within the last 2 years. Completion of relevant professional development courses within the last 3 years.
