Required Qualifications:

Active or eligible for registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy. Recent pediatric experience with airway management and respiratory needs. Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. The successful candidate must be able to work in different settings and environments (home environments and weather conditions), as well as be able to lift and carrying medical bags, which weigh approximately 25-30 lbs. Required to bend, pull, lift, and perform variable movements and position changes from sitting on floor doing activities with children, families, and colleagues to working at desk/computer for extended periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

2 years' current Respiratory Therapy practice as a Home Living case manager. Computer knowledge/skills including Meditech, Connect Care, and Outlook. Strong interpersonal skills are assets. Knowledge of the principles of adult learning is an asset. Knowledge of pediatric community resources and programs.
