Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to work independently in a rapidly changing environment required. Basic computer skills required. Ability to maintain effective and respectful working relationships required. Demonstrated excellent assessment, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player required. Successful completion of the Specialized Clinical Competency of Hemodialysis Orientation required.
Preferred Qualifications:Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred. Charge nurse/team leader experience preferred. Recent or current nephrology nursing experience preferred. CNeph(C) qualification preferred. Recent 3 to 5 years medical/surgical experience preferred. Acute dialysis experience preferred.
