Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation and Leisure Studies. Active or eligible registration for Professional Membership with Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA). Minimum three years' related clinical experience as a Recreation Therapist.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in a community setting with vulnerable populations. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures using a supportive, non-judgmental approach. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various community partners. Demonstrated ability to function in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. Demonstrated ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and overall computer literacy required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability within a complex and rapidly changing environment and may involve working with clients who present with criminal or suicidal tendencies.
