Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of related post-secondary education and Supply Chain Management courses is required. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Intermediate understanding of purchasing fundamentals. A minimum of three years of purchasing experience is required. Proficiency with MS office applications required. Keyboarding skills with minimum of 30wpm required. Ability to communicate in English clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, management, and vendors is required. Effective organizational skills, ability to prioritize, accuracy and attention to detail. Oracle or other ERP system experience is required. Good understanding of Supplier Relationship Management principles. Client focused and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic understanding of contract language and legal terminology. Must be a self-starter; demonstrate initiative and be able to action assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Healthcare and/or Public Purchasing/supply chain experience is an asset. Relevant designations pertaining to business and/or supply chain management preferred.
