Completion of master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.
Additional Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited program in Physiotherapy (MScPT) or Occupational Therapy (MScOT/BScOT) is required. Membership with CPA or ACOT and BCLS-HCP certification are required. Minimum of five recent years’ experience as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist in an adult inpatient acute care setting is required. Experience in a leadership/mentorship role is required. Experience with complex discharge planning required. Proven communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other health care team members, patients, and their families is required. Must possess strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Leadership development and related education is an asset. Experience working with inner city populations is an asset.
