Required Qualifications:

Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP) as a Pharmacy Technician.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Prior hospital experience with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to order entry, checking, sterile compounding, and all aspects of drug distribution such as ward stock, narcotics and individual prescriptions. Experience in all aspects of Oncology practice, including but not limited to receiving, IV order entry, set up, preparation, and medication distribution. Proficient in communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to work in teams. Computer or word processing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year+ oncology practice experience preferred. Experience with BDM computer program preferred. 6 months+ experience in retail pharmacy setting preferred. Membership with a pharmacy professional organization preferred. Membership in CAPhO preferred.
