Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support- Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) required. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license are required. Proven communication and assessment skills to work cooperatively and effectively with the healthcare team members, clients, and their families in a fast paced environment. Strong professional judgment, initiative, and effective time management skills are necessary. Ability to work in different environments within the community (single family homes, lodges, walk up apartments, etc) as well as lift and carry professional bags/equipment weighing up to approximately 25-30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a community care setting and/or Home Care is preferred. Knowledge of Meditech is an asset. Case management experience is an asset.
