Minimum Salary: $37.30

Maximum Salary: $49.65

Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program or bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program and related experience. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience practicing as a registered Occupational Therapist. Experience within the last year providing Occupational Therapy interventions to adult patients in an acute hospital setting. Minimum 1 year experience working in the area of adult neurology. BLS for Health Care Providers Level C CPR certification issued within the last 12 months prior to commencement of employment. Ability to physically manage repetitive lifting, and transferring of patients and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within the last year working in a tertiary neuro rehab or community neuro rehab setting. Experience working specifically with the spinal cord injury population. Experience with supporting patients with long-term seating and equipment needs. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning through in-services, courses, or other educational opportunities.
