Required Qualifications:

Successful completion of an approved NP all-ages program at a minimum of a Master of Nursing level or equivalent. Registration with CARNA as an NP. Required to have 3 years of working in a Family Care Clinic or equivalent setting. Required to work with the Primary Care Network- North. Willingness to complete additional education and/or certifications specific to area of practice such as Buprenorphine training. Computer literacy skills mandatory- Connect Care, Microsoft Office. Must be able to support flexible work schedule in providing evening coverage. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable working directly with patients and their family members. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team and be able to function independently. Work well under pressure and stressful situations. Application and knowledge of current research. Ongoing interest in research. Must understand and practice within full scope of their practice in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent clinical experience in a Primary Care setting preferred. Additional training in ECG, lab and other diagnostic results preferred. Experience in a wide range of assessment, treatment and therapeutic interventions, health promotion, diagnostic procedures, and follow-up care in the community considered an asset. Experience working across the life span and in a primary care setting such as Family Medicine setting is preferred.
