Required Qualifications:

Masters Degree in nursing with a strong focus on advanced clinical nursing practice with a nurse practitioner component in gynecology. Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Graduation from a recognized nursing education program. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification required. Demonstrated ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team. Incumbent will need to demonstrate a passion and desire to work with this patient population. Must be self directed and have the ability to work in a team environment. Must have demonstrated leadership ability, acute care clinical skills and a strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.


Additional Required Qualifications:

The ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team. The ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent working knowledge of computers and systems (Microsoft Word, Excel). The ability to orientate and teach new staff members. Excellent organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of related clinical experience in women's health. Gynecological experience is an asset, as well as oncology experience. Connect Care experience an asset.
