Completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing Science or a graduate program in a related discipline. Current registration with CARNA as a NP. Current ACLS and BCLS-HCP certifications.
Additional Required Qualifications:Must be able to support flexible work schedule, including weekends and nights. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to function independently while still being in a supervised position for the first 6-12 months of this role. Excel at working in a dynamic fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and stressful situations. Application and knowledge of current research. Participation in research and an ongoing interest in research.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent (within the last 12 months) clinical nursing experience in cardiology preferred. NP experience in an acute care setting preferred. Proficiency in ACLS and interventional procedures is highly desirable.
