Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Practices effective radiation protection, infection control and safety techniques as applicable. Ability to work under pressure and in emergency situations. Good organizational skills and ability to assume responsibility. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Perception, initiative, accountability, good judgment and concern for detail and accuracy. Ability to demonstrate tact and courtesy in dealing with patients, staff and physicians. Ability to work confidently, independently and within collaborative partnerships/teams. Proficient computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

ACMDTT Enhanced Practice Certification in Medication Management.
