Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must be able to do chest compressions and be able to lift 15kg.

Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) years’ experience within the last five (5) years in Public Health Nursing, including infant, child and adult immunization and maternal / child assessments. Other skills & experience relevant to Public Health may be considered. One (1) years’ experience with electronic charting (i.e Meditech). Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred, however, skills and experience relevant to nursing practice in community sector will be considered.
