Completion of a bachelor's degree in a health or education related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory body.
Additional Required Qualifications:Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology required. If applicable, candidates may require special authorization from their applicable regulating body to perform psychosocial interventions. Knowledge of theoretical frameworks, therapeutic interventions and developed clinical skills with individual and group services related to grief and loss. Ability to work as a member of a team as well as independently. Ability to take initiative and demonstrate reliability and flexibility. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Adherence to AHS policies, including Information and Privacy, is required. Knowledge of program design and evaluation. Demonstrated success in developing and managing multiple health promotion projects and multi-partner initiatives. Community development experience, including community assessment and consultations including experience facilitating (engaging and mobilizing) diverse groups of stakeholders. Experience in adult education, training, and mentoring others. Ability to facilitate educational offerings and trainings using Zoom and MS Teams.
Preferred Qualifications:Additional education/certification in adult education. Experience working with diverse populations. Intermediate to advance excel skill, survey select, and MyLearningLink. Previous experience with funding proposals and report writing and/or extensive health education resource development.
