A registered Health Professional as recognized in Alberta, with a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred. A minimum of 5 to 7 years in a senior management role / health system leader Experience in the area of Public Health and Community Health essential A strong vision for primary care and wider health system integration Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered Progressive leadership experience in health services delivery, including practical experience in strategy and policy development, change leadership, and project management Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing long term quality services Effective communicator, proven leadership skills, and an effective coach / mentor of emerging leaders Demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Ability to manage diverse human, financial and physical resources Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners To effectively lead the teams, residing in or willing to relocate to South Zone.
