Completion of Grade 12.
Additional Required Qualifications:Knowledge of the diversity of Indigenous cultural and political structures. Experience working in a culturally diverse environment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to solve routine and standard problems. Evidence of initiative, flexibility and strong commitment. Demonstrated punctuality, adaptability and discretion. Must be able to take part in developing and maintaining respectful professional working relationships within AHS and with Indigenous clients, families and communities.
Preferred Qualifications:Indigenous Language is an asset. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. College certificate/diploma in related health care discipline, such as Community Health Representative, Social Work, or Nursing preferred (If part of a registered profession—registration in good standing with applicable governing body).
