Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of Secretarial Program or Equivalent Experience. Minimum 5 years of administrative support experience. Fluency with a variety of computer software programs including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Browsers, calendar and email applications. Typing skills at an accuracy rate of at least 60 words per minute. Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal relationship and problem solving skills required. Ability to be accountable for the overall administrative support functions of the clinic while attending to accurate and timely completion of tasks. Ability to work well under pressure, including working in an open, face paced environment with multiple demands. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Ability to work collaboratively with team members to accomplish goals. Reliability, accountability and flexibility required. Adherence to AHS policies, including Information and Privacy, is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of the Brain Story certification. Experience working within a mental health clinic. Experience working within a child and adolescent program, and understanding of how to support parents. Understanding of and commitment to patient and family centered care principles. A working knowledge of RAIS, Clinibase and E-Scheduler highly preferred. Understanding of and the ability to work with off-site chart management systems preferred.
