Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (BScN). Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment. Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effective change management skills. Proven dependability and accountability. Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to and lead advances in technology. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C). Demonstrated ongoing education in health care and leadership. Commitment to safe, effective and ethical patient care and work practices.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of related and recent acute care experience. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree in Nursing, Health Studies or Business preferred. Two years of supervisory/management experience. Recent surgical experience preferred.
