Must be currently enrolled in an approved Alberta nursing program (RN or RPN) Must have a current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (CPR) certification Completed 3rd year of an RN program, or in the final year of an after-degree RN program; or Completed 2nd year of an RPN program Minimum 600 hours of clinical practice within the approved program
Additional Required Qualifications:A Criminal Record Check prior to the start date is required. Resume must include details of clinical hours completed and/or expected to be completed by the start date, as well as the current year and term of study. Documentation of current and on-going enrollment and number of clinical hours completed is required from your Faculty of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications:Able to fulfill 12-hour shifts with day, night and weekend availability in the summer. Interest in emergency nursing and/or experience in the emergency department preferred. Acute medical/surgical clinical experience preferred.
