Required Qualifications: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:This position is being posted under a Service Worker designation, as a Surgical Processor Developmental Role. The successful candidate will be required to attain mandatory completion of a recognized MDRD Technician Course and followed by Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Certification. Once Certification is obtained (within 6 months after hire) the successful applicant will be transferred to a Surgical Processor designation.
Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of Surgical Instrumentation and Sterilization. Previous experience working within an MDRD is preferred. Without certification, the candidate will be hired into a developmental role and salary adjusted until successful completion of a recognized MDRD Technician course and CSA Certification. Certification is mandatory and will be discussed upon hire.
