Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in acute and/or continuing care setting. Exhibits strong clinical knowledge and skill in seniors care (Geriatrics, Continuing Care, Assisted Living, Designated Assisted Living, Long Term Care) or relevant specialty. Knowledge of available community supports and programs.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Current registration from the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (C.A.R.N.A.) required. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation B.L.S. Certification (Level C) Health Care Provider required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years recent nursing experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience recommended. Charge nurse experience required. Combination of education and experience may be considered.
