Description:
Description: The Osseointegration Technologist is responsible for constructing intraoral osseointegrated prosthetics and craniofacial prostheses in a production laboratory. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Post-secondary diploma in Dental Technology is required. Registration with the College of Dental Technologists of Alberta (CDTA) is required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven experience in the acquisition and management of medical image data (e.g., CT, MRI, or 3D scanning). Proficiency in processing and manipulating anatomical models derived from medical imaging. Demonstrated ability to design and develop patient-specific surgical guides and templates using CAD software or equivalent tools. Strong understanding of medical imaging software and 3D modeling platforms (e.g., Mimics, 3D Slicer, Materialise, or similar). Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards related to medical device design and manufacturing is an asset.
