Description:
Description: The Occupational Therapist II (OT) is responsible for providing leadership and functional supervision through the coordination of the day to day operations to their assigned team. The OT II facilitates the development of professional skills in their team, participates in program development and operational planning, and acts as a communication liaison between team and management, and provides direct patient centered care, working as part of an Interprofessional leadership team. The OT II is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT) required. Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
