Minimum 3 to 5 years recent experience in Occupational Health Nurse setting. Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and possess strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel in a windows environment. Receptive to change and able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Extensive experience with Cority software. Hospital Occupational Health Nurse experience and/or experience with infection control principles. Previous experience with immunizations and TST’s. Application of legislation / best practices as it relates to occupational health in the health care sector. Sound knowledge base in Occupational Health and Safety practices. Must be able to travel to clinical sites (via personal vehicle or alternate transportation e.g. transit). Hybrid work arrangements. Willingness to wear PPE. Must be able to manually lift and carry equipment safely (up to 20 lbs) independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with delivery of adult education &training. Membership with Alberta Occupational Health Nurses Association. Hold a national occupational health nurse credential. A revolving work schedule and overtime may be required due to operational requirements.
