Your Opportunity:
Join our team working in an Acute care hospital setting. This regular part time position is currently Friday dayshift, Sat, Sun and Monday Evening, every other week. This allows you to develop your skills in the OR, and Emergency Dept imaging. This Regular 0.40 FTE provides benefits and opportunity to pick up shifts or have time off between your rotation.

Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Energetic, positive and reliable. Ability to work in a physically demanding busy environment. Teamwork oriented as well as critical thinking required.
Preferred Qualifications:1-year recent Acute care hospital experience.
