Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:Availability details must be clearly outlined in resume or cover letter (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and summer commitment). Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience in long-term care, subacute care, or hospice care. New graduates are welcome to apply. Demonstrated reliability with strong, consistent availability, including the ability to pick up short notice shifts. Connect Care experience. Dementia-specific education (e.g., Supportive Pathways or equivalent) grounded in person-centered care and responsive approaches to dementia-related behaviors.
